Materials

  • 6 Cups

  • 150 alfalfa seeds

  • Stove

  • Area for direct sunlight

  • Water

  • Cup measure

Procedures

  1. Gather clear cups and alfalfa seeds

  2. Put 25 seeds into each the cups

  3. Fill 3 cups approximately half way with normal water

  4. Repeat step 3 but with Boiling water

  5. Label Cups with boiling water "Manipulated"

  6. Put all cups together in an area with lots of natural sunlight

  7. Wait 3-4 days 

  8. On 4th day, empty seeds onto separate plates and record data
